Lingerie Episode 3

Here we go….the first blog for the Cinemax and Cinemax On Demand series ‘Lingerie’!

This was the first episode so far that I’ve not had a love scene in. It’s a little easier to watch….for me. Ya, I guess I kinda get embarassed watching the love scenes. It is actually easier to film than it is to watch, if you can imagine.
This week’s episode had one of my favorite scenes in it – the one of Marilyn and Lacey walking down the street chatting. It was a BITCH to film! SOOOO freaking cold, and people were totally unaware that we were filing and would just walk in frame or cut us off. I actually tripped over somoene during the scene once b/c they just walked right in front of me! Then there were others who were very aware we were shooting. I remember a sweet older lady with a little baby across the street and they just sat and watched us for hours. So cute. Then there were buses, street cars, etc. that would stroll by and make so much noise that the dialogue was drowned out. This particular scene required a LOT of voice over work afterward.
Oh, and yes, THIS was the day that my wallet was stollen! I was on location shooting this scene while my bag was being riffled thru back on set. What a day.
Funny thing about Lacey and Marilyn….Denise Cobar (who plays Marilyn) is actually m best friend in “real life”. We found ourselves walking down this exact same street about a month later, chatting just like this when, we stopped, looked around, and said “we’ve been here before”!
